Font:〖L M S

Recently, several COVID-19 patients who had traveled to Zhangjiajie in Hunan province tested positive. The Government has correspondingly updated the relevant control measures to protect the public’s health and safety.

1. If you have traveled in Zhangjiajie since July 15, you should report to your residential community and your employer immediately, and stay at home for medical observation.

During the 14-day self-isolation period (from the date you left Zhangjiajie), you need to keep track of your temperature and any of the symptoms each day. Follow health protocols when you must go out, and avoid any gathering events. You shall undergo six nucleic acid tests on the first, third, fifth, seventh, 10th and 14th day of the isolation period.

If you have left Zhangjiajie in less than seven days, you are required to get tested for COVID-19 at least three times (interval between every two tests must be longer than 24 hours).

2. If you were in the audience of the show — Meili Xiangxi, or Charm Xiangxi — between 18:00 and 19:00 on the night of July 22 in Zhangjiajie, you should report to your residential community and your employer immediately, and complete your quarantine at a designated facility.

3. It is strongly advised that those eligible for COVID-19 vaccines get fully inoculated as soon as possible, combined with the precautions listed below.

a. Wear a mask that covers your nose and mouth to help protect yourself and others.

b. Wash your hands often with soap and water.

c. Reduce unnecessary gatherings.

d. If indoors, bring in fresh air by opening windows and doors, if possible.

e. Seek medical treatment at a nearby testing and fever clinic as soon as possible when symptoms such as fever, dry cough or fatigue show, and inform medical staff of your whereabouts over the previous 14 days.

f. Avoid unnecessary trips to medium and high-risk regions. If you plan to come to Changzhou from such areas, you should report to your residential community and your employer 24 hours before your scheduled arrival time.
